Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is an area of HM Naval Base Portsmouth which is open to the public; it contains several historic buildings and ships.
It is managed by the National Museum of the Royal Navy and was created to promote and manage the tourism element of the Royal Navy Dockyard while allowing public visits to several attractions.
The following photos are from the HMS Warrior, the world's first armour-plated, iron-hulled warship, launched in 1860.
The next photos are from the HMS Victory, the flagship of Horatio Nelson at the Battle of Trafalgar. There are little photos for now, as we runned out of time, however I promise to add more next time we go there...
