It is located in the centre of Portugal and is where the Virgin Mary appeared to 3 little shepherds during the year 1917.
It holds a special place in my heart, for both me and my wife, and we visit it at least once a year.
It recharges us for the coming year. It is a place where we have a chance to be grateful and appreciate all the good things God has given us and where we get the strength to endure the challenges ahead.
If you are a believer, chances are you have already visited Fatima and had the chance to feel it for yourself. If you are not a believer, Fatima may not be much to you, but regardless, it is (at least for me), one of the most relaxing places on earth.
